RIDE THE TROLLEY
The MTS Trolley network is an attractive option for those traveling from the north, east or south. On race day, plan to arrive at the 12th & Imperial Trolley Station (closest to Harbor Drive Pedestrian Bridge for half marathon waves and Gear Check for all participants) or Gaslamp Quarter Trolley Station (closest to 5K start waves). A trolley 2-way pass or Day Pass is approximately $5.00. For more detailed arrival/departure times and a list of stations with free parking, please visit www.sdmts.com.
Trolleys arrive at Petco Park in plenty of time prior to the race, as follows:
Blue Line northbound (San Ysidro to 12& Imperial) arrives at the 12th & Imperial Trolley Station at 5:31am, 6:01am and 6:31am.
Green Line (Santee/Qualcomm Stadium to Gaslamp) arrives at Gaslamp Quarter Trolley Station at 5:24am, 5:54am, 6:24am and 6:54am and 12th & Imperial Trolley Station at 5:26am, 5:56am, 6:26am and 6:56am.

Both relay partners should plan to pick up race packets at the Expo (signed waivers are required for both relay partners). If you are Leg1, you will also pick up your team’s official relay baton.
Both relay partners should plan to go to Petco Park on race morning.
Leg2: Once you arrive at Petco Park, look for the shuttles on Imperial Ave (just across Park Blvd from Petco Park). Shuttles begin departing as early as 7:00am, with the last shuttle departing at 7:30am.
Leg1: Join the half marathon wave listed on your race bib. Once you reach the 10K mile marker, keep right and follow the green RELAY signs into the transition area, where you will hand off the baton to your partner. Shuttles will then take you to the corner of 7th & K St (just outside the Gaslamp Gate of Petco’s Park at the Park) where you can reunite with your partner and finish together!
Each partner will receive their own Relay medal.
Gear Check is an easy way to store your extra clothing while you are out on the course (i.e. layers before the race or a change of clothes). Your race packet includes a pre-printed gear bag label attached to your bib and a zip tie. Prior to dropping off your gear bag on race morning, attach the label to the stadium-safe bag (provided at the Expo) with the zip tie.
The Gear Check drop-off area is located at the southern end of Park Blvd across from Petco Park. Your bag will be available for pick-up inside Petco’s Park at the Park. Please do not put valuables in your gear bag, as we cannot be responsible for any lost or stolen items. Unattended items found at the start or along the course will be donated to charity.
