Go for the GOLD while wearing your GREEN! PET AND STROLLER FRIENDLY!!!
Part of the 2019 Cricket Wireless Spring & Summer Points Series!
This 3.1 mile race is for walkers, joggers, competitive and non-competitive runners, dog-walkers, dog-runners and stroller pushers (no bikes please). We encourage everyone to dress in their best Irish/Green outfit. Prizes are awarded to top runners and there is a costume contest! Dogs must remain under control and on a leash no longer than 6 feet long at all times. The course is primarily flat, with a few rolling hills in the first mile. Please note that there is mixed terrain on the course which includes, pavement, small gravel and grass. 2019 T-shirt guaranteed with registration fee for all participants registered by February 23, 2019!
Prize Categories for both Male and Female:
- Top 3 Overall (excluded from Age Group Awards)
- Age 14 & Under
- Age 15-19
- Age 20-29
- Age 30-39
- Age 40-49
- Age 50-59
- Age 60+
- There is also a costume contest for both people and dogs.
- Awards Ceremony takes place at 10:45, so runners must complete the race in 40 minutes or less to participate in the awards ceremony. There is NO time limit for completion of the course in order to get an official finishing time on the published online results.
The Little Leprechaun Dash is our free fun run for Kids ages 2 to 10. Leprechauns are grouped depending on attendance and by age, distance varies for the age groups ranging from 1/4, 1/2 or full length of the football field. All participants receive a goodie bag. ADVANCE RACE PACKET PICK-UP: Want to avoid the race day check-in lines for either the 5K or Little Leprechaun Dash? We have TWO opportunities to pick up your race bib & goodie bag before race day. You can also sign up in-person:
- Thursday, March 14 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Fleet Feet Sports, 6416 Carlisle Pike #700, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050 (Next to Sweet Frog)
- Friday, March 15 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at The Appalachian Brewing Company, 6462 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050

PARKING- Bernheisel Bridge Road will be closed during the race, from the park entrance to Country Club Road. Please come into the park from Ridge Hill Road/Bernheisel Bridge Road. Parking is available inside the park. Handicap Parking is also available.
