TIME TO GET WYLD!

The WYLD Obstacle Run is back for its eigth year, with this year's event back in the City of Torrington. The WYLD Run will take place a beautiful Camp MOE, providing the perfect setting for a challenging race as well as a whole lot of fun afterward at the cookout and awards ceremony. 

Here at the Y, we believe that families who play together, stay together. The WYLD Run is a fantastic way for a family to share healthy values, all while helping others. Together, we can participate in a walk or run to benefit those who cannot afford the cost of Y programs.

Our goal is to provide events that bring families closer together, encourage good health and foster connections through fitness, fun and shared interests. Proceeds from the WYLD Run support financial assistance with the goal of ensuring that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grown and thrive at the Y.

Event details and schedule

All registrants for the 5K run will recieve an official WYLD Obstacle Run event T-Shirt if registered by June 19th.  Prizes will be awarded for 1st through 3rd place for male/female overall and age division winners, and of course, the team category!

KIDS WILL ALSO RECEIVE Y RACE SERIES T-SHIRTS THIS YEAR!

Event Schedule:

Packet Pick Up & Race Day Registration Open 8:30 AM until 11:00 AM

Kids run will go off at at 9:30 am.

First Wave of the adult race starts 11:00 AM

Free Cookout after the race 

Awards immediately following the race

Parking is free.

Please wear athletic clothing and running shoes.

Race Day registration is $65.
