Did you know that September 22 is Hobbit Day?  It’s the birthday of Bilbo and Frodo Baggins!  We are celebrating with a Hobbit Day 5K!

September is also World Alzheimer’s Month, so  we will be donating 20% of every registraton to Cure Alzheimer’s Fund, where  100% of donations go directly to research towards a cure of rAlzheimer’s .

What: This is a 5K virtual run (or walk) to honor hobbits!

When: Complete your race any time in September 2016.  If you can complete it on Hobbit Day, September 22nd, even better! 

*Medals and bibs will begin shipping out at the end of August.  

Where:  You choose the course and you time yourself (you’ll report your finishing time to us).

Why:  Because this is our way of celebrating Hobbit Day and to help raise funds for an amazing organization: Cure Alzheimer’s Fund. 

Cost:  The price is $20 and that includes your medal, bib and shipping. Plus, at least 20% of every entry will be donated to Cure Alzheimer’s Fund, (typically about $5).  *We are in no way affiliated with this charity, we like to choose a different charity for each of our races and are happy to raise funds for them.
