Please choose your registration category carefully, choose the distance, whether you want the finisher shirt (the medal only categories will not come with a finisher shirt), and whether you want to race virtually or live in Mascoutah, IL on November 17th. If you choose the virtual option, but come to the live race, you will not be allowed to race that day.
Note: There will be a small processing fee added to your registration.
Half Marathon, 5k, and Dog Mile
When: Sunday, November 17, 2019
Where: Scheve Park - 890 N. 10th Street, Mascoutah, IL
Start Times:
Half Marathon and 5k - 7:30am
Wheelchair participants - 7:25 am
Dog Mile - 9:00am
Please arrive early on race day, as you will not be permitted to begin the race after the official start time of 7:30.
Half marathon and 5k packet pick up: Race Day - 6:30am-7:15am
Dog mile packet pick up: Race Day - 8:00am-8:45am
NO ANIMALS ALLOWED ON 5k or HALF MARATHON COURSES.
The dog mile will start at 9:00am. Anyone who is also completing the half marathon or 5k, may begin the Dog Mile - 1 mile walk/run with your dog - at 9:00am or immediatley upon returning from their race. No dogs are allowed on the half or 5k courses, so if you are running either, your dog must remain with a spectator until you return.
All dogs must remain leashed at all times. Please bring your own doggy doo-doo bags and pick up after your pets. We want to keep the park looking great so that we are allowed to return each year to raise more funds for more rescues!
$20 of every entry fee will be donated to non-profit/no-kill animal rescues that FLR has teamed up with. The rest of your entry fee will cover race swag, race day amenities, and more. *An acknowledgement of your $20 tax deductible donation will be included at the bottom of your race confirmation email.
Last day to receive race shirt with registration is October 10th.
Those who register after October 10th will NOT receive a shirt with their entry. Online registration closes November 14th. Race day entry's accepting cash or check only.
Race Day Registration Prices (cash or check only, no exceptions): Half Marathon: $75, 5k: $55, Dog Mile: $35
VIRTUAL RACING:
If you are unable to come to the live event or do not live near Illinois, you can choose the virtual race entry. Race anywhere between October 1 and December 31, post your results online, and receive your race swag in the mail! Shipping is included with the price of registration. Be sure to register before October 10th if you would like to receive a finisher shirt with your entry! All race swag will ship in mid to late November.
