Event Description
Inspired by St. Mary's mission to improve the health and quality of life of people in our local communities our medical center is organizing our annual healthiest community 5K Fit 4 Life community run/obstacle course on Saturday, May 4, 2019.
The event will be held in Apple Valley and proceeds from this event will benefit St. Joseph Health, St. Mary and provide needed college scholarships for our youth volunteers. St. Joseph Health, St. Mary has been serving the High Desert communities for more than 60 years and is now the only non-profit hospital in the High Desert.

6:30 a.m. on site registration & pre registration check in
8:00 a.m. HD Fit 4 Life 5K start
9:15 a.m. Kids 6 –12 Course Starts
FAQ:
- Kids 12 & under FREE but must be accompanied by an adult. Each receive a medal and have the option to purchase a t-shirt when registering.
- Special mini kid’s run/obstacle course is FREE for ages6 –11. Parents are encouraged to participate. We are proud to partner with Health Strong for Kids.
- Course has obstacles & exercise for all ages.

All paid runners will receive a commemorative t-shirt & medal.
- Team / individual costumes or themed outfits encouraged
Teams: Group of 10 or more
Minimum of 10 members per team
If you create or join a team, and if such team does not have 10 members registered by Wednesday, 5/1/2019 you may be charged an additional $5.00 per person.
