What is the FriscoFIT Challenge? Simply put It’s 3 weeks of Health+Happiness Events designed to improve the health and wellness of our citizens who LIVE WORK and PLAY in Frisco and Beyond!! The Challenge will encourage everyone to get up, get out and get moving to better Health+ Happier Better Lives HERE. Virtual Racing is a new concept and this is the very first event of it's kind here in Frisco. What is the most exciting is participants can participate anywhere, there is no designated route. Not going to be in town, no problem, you can still participate.
Virtual Events: These events are for participants at any age, any stage and all physical abilities.
FriscoFIT City Challenge- 21 day Fitness Challenge-(May5th- May 26th) Participate Anytime, Anywhere in the world- No fancy gadgets or GPS required to participate. Frisco's very first Virtual Wellness Challenge Course - will be used for the 3 week challenge- 21 days to walk, run, ride, and or record active minutes, anywhere indoors or outside to complete 26.2 miles. Any and all active minutes can be logged and converted to miles to move along the Virtual wellness challenge course. The virtual challenge platform is engaging, fun and totally interactive. Join the community, it's fun !!
The Virtual 5K RACE is Sat May 18th - Virtual 5k Race STARTS 9am CST. (See race rules at sign up) GPS device or phone required. Powered By STRAVA, RunSignUp and YOU!

The FriscoFIT City Challenge event is a fundraiser for poweredtomove.org. Powered to Move is a nonprofit organization founded in Allen, Texas with a mission to provide fitness opportunities to children and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. Powered to Move VIDEO Click here
What is a VIRTUAL RACE? You race on your terms, your turf and your pace! Run (or walk) the predetermined distance with friends, family, or yourself whenever and wherever you’d like. Compete with friends in other cities LIVE and in REAL TIME. In an effort to create a ZERO waste and Environmentally Sustainable fundraiser that generates more charity dollars we have opted to not do a traditional swag bag and medals for the 1st annual kick off year. All participants will receive very cool digital bling for sharing and Finisher Certificates for your efforts. All participants will be entered to win incentive prizes and swag during the event weeks. You can Record active minutes to participate during the FriscoFIT City 21 Day Fitness challenge to increase your chances of winning some cool swag and share your photos using the hashtag #FriscoFITCity. Smile as you Walk, Run, Ride or Race knowing you are supporting a great cause. 50% of your Fitness Challenge registration will be donated and 100% of your optional donation dollars are direct deposited to the charity account that will be used to support the programs provided by Poweredtomove.org
