Event Description

Hill Country adventure at its finest! Staging from the municipal campground/golf course in San Saba, TX and following marked dirt and gravel roads to this amazing crossing of the Colorado River. These routes are primarily on gravel and dirt roads. Traditional road bikes are not recommended. Gravel rigs, cyclocross bikes and hardtail mtb's are the suggested bicycles to use.

Routes from 25-100+ miles. Please note, it will most likely take a total route of at least 100K to be able to ride to the bridge. We are also excited to announce that our event date coincides with the annual Cow Camp Cookoff BBQ competition in San Saba! We are trying to get more details related to that lined up so folks can make plans around their appetites.

Staging/Start/Finish will be at the San Saba River RV Park Club House. This means indoor restrooms and air conditioning folks! Tent camping is available with registration and RV spots are available if you book your own.

This is a self supported event. There are no SAG vehicles and riders are expected to make their own arrangements in case of breakdown on course. Tent camping (by reservation) is included with registration. Once you register you will receive camping details in your confirmation email.

There will be water tables along the route but most likely no other amenities available. We suggest carrying enough nutrition to go your full distance. Routes under 100 miles will be marked but you should always have a navigation device as a backup. Registration includes free access to premium services on the Ride With GPS app if you don't already have a navigation device.
