Kilometers for Cancer is a newly formed organization committed to strengthening and expanding fundraising for leading cancer research foundations. We do this by promoting healthy activity locally through our sponsored community events.
Kilometers for Cancer is hosting it's annual 10k/5k run and walk on Sunday, September 25th at Log Boom Park in Kenmore, WA. Proceeds will benefit the Lymphoma Research Foundation, which devotes itself exclusively to funding innovative research to eradicate lymphomas.
The race begins and ends in beautiful Log Boom Park. The route is fast and flat and takes participants along the famous Burke Gilman Trail. Participants will enjoy scenic views of the North shore of Lake Washington as well as music and local vendors. Kilometers for Cancer is a great event for the whole family!
If you can't make it and would still like to contribute, donations are tax-deductible and help support the Lymphoma Research Foundation: https://fundraising.active.com/event/Kilometersforcancer2016
