Join the American Diabetes Association for the inspiring 2019 San Diego Tour de Cure! Whether you are a first-time rider or an avid cyclist, a competitive or novice runner, we have an activity that is perfect for you. The San Diego Tour de Cure will start and finish at the iconic Del Mar Fairgrounds.  5 cycling routes to choose from offer picturesque coastal routes and spectacular views of San Diego's best beaches and some of the small quiet mountain ranges in North County. The 5K walk and the 5K run is a fun family event for all ages!  Run or walk around the race track which dates back to 1937 and where Seabiscuit won by a nose in the infamous race in 1938. Participate in the magic and nostalgia of a part of the venue few get to experience close-up.

Afterwards, enjoy quintessential racetrack favorites including healthy street tacos, live entertainment, beer and wine concession, health and wellness village, a kid’s zone, and more! All of the routes feature full-service rest stops with refreshments, mechanical support, restrooms, and medical teams. When you cross the finish at the fairgrounds, a scrumptious lunch, a health & wellness village, music and entertainment await you.
