Event Description

A spectacular day of FUN playing soccer with friends.  Entry fee is a NEW stuffed toy or NEW book for kids at Rady Children's Hospital.

Jayson is creating this fun day to raise awareness about all the great work Rady Children's Hospital does for kids like his brother Shane.  Shane was born with Tetralogy of Fallot, basically a hole in the middle of his heart.  He had open heart surgery at Rady Childrens Hospital when he was only 3 months old.  He remained under the care of Rady's Cardiology department for years.  Shane was finally allowed/cleared by his Cardiologist to participate in physical activity/sports when he was 8years old.....his first sport, and his favorite sport is soccer.  

Kids of all ages and ability levels are welcome to participate in this fun day, we will make teams the morning of the event, all kids will receive "team colored socks" to wear in the games.   Soccer cleats are encouraged but not necessary, shin guards are also encouraged, but not necessary.
