The Sikh Youth Association of South Florida and the Town of Southwest Ranches present to you the Second Annual ‘A Race for Unity in Diversity’ 5K Run / Walk'. The event will take place on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at the Sikh Society of Florida (Sikh Temple) at 6:00 a.m. The goal of this event is to engage and empower the youth to stand up and become active members in our local communities by promoting community service as well as the understanding of people from all walks of life. The proceeds from this 5K Run / Walk will go to benefit the Town of Southwest Ranches College Scholarship Fund, which is a community program that provides scholarships to students living in the town to college. We encourage everyone to invite their family and friends to support this cause all while promoting a healthy and active lifestyle. In today’s society we recognize that everyone is unique in their own way, however, we want to find common ground and shed light on what holds us all close together.
