Event Description

Welcome to the 3rd Annual Spring in the City 5K Run and 1 mile fun walk! This event will help raise funds for continued improvements to the Brown Street Park. We are partnering with the Bryn Mawr Racing Company as a great way to celebrate our town & healthy living!       

Location:             

The course will start and end at Brown Street Park, Spring City, PA with a scenic course through town. Walkers will follow a similar, shorter route. Please see website for map.

Awards:               

Overall M/F and top 3 M/F in age Groups: 14 and Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Entry:                   

$25 before race day; $30 on Race Day

Amenities:           

T-shirt (Not guaranteed if you register after 4/10/19), water station, medals, post-race refreshments and activities. Award ceremony at approximately 10:00AM, followed by a kids fun run.

Our Mission:        

The Spring City Brown Street Park is an open space in our community for families and friends to gather and enjoy the outdoors. The park area includes the pool, tennis courts, gazebo, children’s play area and a large open space which has hosted summer concert series, the annual Easter Egg Hunt, our 5k race, and several other Sesquicentennial events in 2017.

Our mission is to support this growth and encourage use of the park by replacing the children's play area and continuing to bring events to Brown Street Park.
