Event Description

Welcome to the 2019 Habitat for Humanity Neon 5K Run. This 5K is organized by students at the University of Pennsylvania to raise funds for the Philadelphia Chapter of Habitat for Humanity. The mission of Habitat for Humanity is to transform lives by building quality homes in partnership with families in need and, locally, uniting all Philadelphians around the cause of affordable housing.

Race Start: 8:00 AM

Location: Penn Park (see course map below)

Registration:
-- Advance: $25; (until April 19th)
-- Race-Day: $30; 7:15 to 7:45 AM registration
-- Student discount: $5

Awards:                  
Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finish as well as for the best neon color display! Prizes will be distributed at 9:00 AM at the start/finish line of the race (next to Franklin Field, the UPenn football stadium).     

Amenities:     
Each participant will receive a t-shirt, wristband, refreshments, water stations, prizes will be provided.

Race will be professionally timed by the Bryn Mawr Racing Co. The results will be accessible at http://www.brynmawrracing.com
