Stride & Ride Relay”, all started with a vision to unite people together with different physical interests and raise awareness about the significants of October 7, 2001; to honor and remember those who perished on 9/11, our Military Men and Women lost at war, those who lost their lives due to the invisible wounds of war; and support those currently serving, including our Veterans, First Responders and their Families.
Relay spans 911 miles from Boston, Massachusetts to Arlington, Virginia. Traversing through Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and Washington D.C. Stages vary from one to sixty miles for Runners, Cyclists, Walkers/Ruckers, and Motorcyclists.
Whether your the avid runner, to a generally active walker/rucker, to a cyclist who loves to pedal away or someone who simply wants to sit back on a motorcycle and ride the open roads; Stride and Ride Relay has a stage (s) for you.
The Logan Airport 9/11 Memorial is a place of contemplation, reflection and remembrance for a world impacted by the events of September 11, 2001. The Memorial is a permanent memorial that honors the passengers and crews of American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175, the two planes that departed Logan Airport for Los Angeles.
