Join the international water movement to inspire, empower and give back!


Don’t miss the 3rd Annual Butterfly Effect in Lake Tahoe, featuring:

• Non-competitive group paddle to Nevada state line

• SUP Introduction and paddle techniques

• Yoga and SUP Yoga

• Cultural Dance and Hula

• Beach clean-up

• Raffle and prizes

• Vendor Village and Beach Festival

The 3rd annual non-competitive, all-women, 3k paddle from Kings Beach to Nevada State Line and back includes stand-up paddle, paddle board, canoe, and kayak. Hundreds of international women will flock to North Lake Tahoe to take part in this unique, one of a kind, uplifting event for women in board sports. Event will feature guest pro water sport riders showcasing their skills, team building games, cultural expression, yoga, beach fitness, Hawaiian dance and leis, music, Aloha beach festival, and vendor village. The event will also strive to be a plastic free zone this year and will host a community beach clean-up to spread awareness of protecting our playgrounds and keeping Tahoe blue.

Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation that advocates early detection and a healthy, active, and sustainable lifestyle as the best means for breast cancer prevention. Founded in 1996, B4BC empowers young people to make positive choices that promote lifelong wellness through outreach, prevention, sustainability, and support programs.



Must be able to swim. Lifejackets (PFD's) required for all participants. Paddling with a buddy is encouraged!

Beach entries accepted for $60/person. Cash or check only.

Online registration closes at noon on Friday, September 16th, 2016.

Cancellation & Refund Policy 
Registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE. Once we receive and accept your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate. You may not give or sell your race number or entry to anyone else. You also may not transfer your application to the following year. If the event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control such an act of nature, terrorist threat, act of war, etc. there will be no refunds.

If you are registered and unable to paddle and participate you will still receive your event goodie bag.
