About the SAINTS RUN
St. Anthony High School’s 7th Annual SAINTS RUN continues to bring the Long Beach Community together at the beach each year. The SAINTS RUN 2016 will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 (7:00 a.m. – Registration, 8:00 a.m. – Run / Walk Start). All proceeds benefit St. Anthony High School’s financial aid program.
Last year, St. Anthony High School’s 6th Annual SAINTS RUN drew more than 1,000 participants, who enjoyed a wonderful day along the Long Beach shoreline, and raised more than $45,000 for financial aid programs for students. Runners and sponsors were treated to a well-organized, early morning 5K race, with festivities at Shoreline Village along the downtown waterfront.
Starting and finishing at the Shoreline Aquatic Park, the 5K course is a flat, out-and-back run along the beautiful Long Beach shoreline, with water stations at the halfway turn-around and finish. It is a perfect course for new runners, seniors, and walkers. The SAINTS RUN is not only an enjoyable day along the beach, but it is also ideal for attaining a new personal best as a runner.
All entrants receive specially-designed t-shirts and additional goodies. The top three runners in all age groups receive medals, and gifts for approved teams and alumni teams are presented.
