Event Description
Runners and walkers alike join Fashion Your Mind Organization (FYMO) for its 6th Annual “Giving to Live” 5K to benefit cancer patients in the Greater Bay Area. The event is held on Saturday, August 13th and will be held at the Elk Grove Regional Park. Proceeds from this event go directly to cancer patients for health related costs such as: medication, living expenses, transportation, supportive services and home care.
In addition to the 5K run/walk, the “Giving to Live” event also offers live entertainment, complimentary massages, mini facials, prizes, and new this year will be a Kids Fun Race!
Until there’s a cure, we’re here for those living with cancer!
Event details and schedule
Form a team and invite your friends, family and co-workers to join you in “Giving to Live”! Team registration is easy! Pick a team captain and team name. When choosing a team name, be creative. Each team must have a minimum of four members, there is no maximum number of team members. The fastest four times will be scored and will determine the winning team.

Directions
Elk Grove Regional Park is located East of Freeway 99, Southeast of Frontage Road, North of Elk Grove-Florin Road. Enter the park where there is plenty of parking. Event site is the first left once you enter the park.
