Online race registration for the EmergeOrtho 5k is now closed but not to worry! There are still 2 opportunities to register for this race:
1. Friday, May 15th from 3:30pm-6:00pm at EmergeOrtho, Shipyard location (3787 Shipyard Blvd).
2. Race Morning, May 16th from 6:30-7:30 AM at race location Port City Community Church (250 Vision Dr)

The EmergeOrtho 5k benefits and celebrates the achievements of the boys and girls in Girls on the Run and STRIDE of Coastal Carolina. Join us on May 16th at 8am as over 600 boys and girls celebrate their season. Runners, walkers and strollers are welcome! The EmergeOrtho 5k is a great family and community event - come join in the fun!

PLEASE READ:Girls on the Run and STRIDE participants do not need to register for 5k. Participants are already registered with program registration.

The race will go on rain or shine!
In the event of inclement weather the following procedures will be followed:
The event will be postponed in hopes the inclement weather will pass. If the inclement weather does not pass in time to complete the event safely, the event will be cancelled.
Inclement weather includes:
• Severe winds over 35 miles per hour
• Lightning, as shown on a lightning detector, within 10 miles of the event
Every effort will be made to hold this event on time on this date. Should this event be cancelled due to an Act of God or other circumstance beyond the race director's control there will be no refunds, credits, or transfers.
NO EXCEPTIONS will be made to this policy.
EmergeOrtho 5K is the 4th race in the year-long Coastal Carolina Run Series!
This yearlong series consists of 9 races across Coastal Carolina including a family-friendly beach obstacle course, 10k road runs, 1 mile fun runs, the traditional 5K distance and a trail runs. Participation is the key! The more races you run, the more the muscles burn, the faster the legs turn, the more points you earn!
