Event Description

Valerie Gaddy was an extraordinary Math teacher who inspired students in several schools, and spent the last eleven years of her life teaching at Hanahan High School. In her honor, family, friends and co-workers started a scholarship program that recognizes one (or more) seniors from HHS who are planning to attend her alma mater, Clemson University.  All funds for the scholarship are donated or raised from the annual Gaddy 5K Walk/Run.  Through this event, we celebrate the memory of an amazing woman who motivated and encouraged her students and her fellow teachers. Please come join us, Saturday, May 7th, at 7:45 at HHS to participate in this worthy event.  You may contact Karin Roberts at robertsk@bcsdschools.net with any questions.                                 Friday, May 5th 4:00 p.m.  to 6:00 p.m.

                                Saturday, May 6th 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.

There will be first, second and third place prizes for both male and female categories
