5K and 10K Road Race

Course: Both races start just outside the church parking lot. Courses are not closed to traffic.
Parking: Available at Sango United Methodist Church, extra parking in the lot at Sango Rd and Sango Dr.

Awards and Door Prizes following the 5k/10k races

Awards
Overall Male and Female for 5K and 10K
Overall Masters Male and Female (40+) for 5K and 10K
Overall Grand Masters Male and Female (50+) for 5k and 10k

Awards three deep for each age group (male & female):
19 and under
20-29
30-39
40-49
50-59
60-69
70 and over

5K includes three youth age groups:
14 and under
15-19

10K participants must finish in 1 hour and 20 minutes for time recognition.
5K participants must finish in one hour for time recognition.

All registered participants are eligible for door prize drawings.

*This year’s participants must register before June 1st to receive a tech shirt with a Wilma Rudolph race logo!

Event details and schedule

Race Events
Friday, June 21st 
2:00 PM to 7:00 PM Expo/Packet Pick Up at Sango United Methodist Church. 
Registration will be available at the Expo 
CASH or CHECK Only

Saturday, June 22nd
6:00 AM Packet pickup, which includes picking up your timing chip, same day registration 
6:30 AM End of registration for both races
**No exceptions to registration cutoff time.
**No pre-registration changes.
6:50 AM Participants walk to the corner of 
Robercrest Rd & Sango Rd for the National 
Anthem prior to the race.

7:00 AM 10K & 5k races begin

Awards and Door Prizes following the 5k/10k races 

* Arrive early to allow time for parking,pick up timing chip and walk to the start line.
