Event Description

Join the Pennyrile Area Cyclists (PAC) on Saturday, July 27, in downtown Madisonville, KY, for our 15th Annual PAC Challenge. 

This is a charity ride with all proceeds going to purchase bicycles and helmets for disadvantaged children in our community.  PAC works closely with local school resource officers to fulfill our shopping list and help brighten a child's Christmas/Holiday.  We all know that our first bike was our first taste of freedom and independence, so it is with great pride and gratitude that PAC will be hosting this worthwhile event in it's 15th year.

Start:

This year all riders begin with a mass start at 8:00AM from 103 Sugg Street, adjacent to the Madisonville skateboard park, in downtown Madisonville, KY.  

Routes:

Our routes include a 7, 20, 35 mile,  and a more challenging metric option. 

All routes are open to motor vehicle traffic, but are generally low traffic areas.  All riders are responsible for obeying all traffic laws, and strongly encouraged to be mindful of approaching traffic.

Full vehicle SAG support and rest stops are supplied for the 20, 35 mile and metric routes.

All riders are required to wear a USCPSC approved helmet!!

When possible, PAC will have drawings for a few small prizes and every rider of PAC Challenge will be given a nice goodie bag to take home.

Strava Points:

PAC will pay KOM and QOM cash prizes for the fastest rider through each point.

Entry Fee:

Prior to July 5: $30.00 (Guaranteed event t-shirt)

After July 5:    $35.00
