Event Description
5th Annual Total Image 10 miler 10k and 10 mile relay takes place Sunday, April 28th. Everyone gets a custom event finishers medal! Awesome after party right at Arms park with soup for all, a complimentary beer, music and so much more.
CHARITY - FOR THE LOVE OF DOG
For The Love of Dogs is a unique, 501(c)3 non-profit founded in 2004 by a group of like-minded Rottweiler lovers who wanted to avoid the politics of other rescues. Over the course of time (and Hurricane Katrina), the group included the very-misunderstood bully breeds on a limited basis, as well as an occasional mixed breed, and even a kitten! For the Love of Dog is funded solely on donations, adoption fees, grants, and fundraisers. The organization also receives funding through weekly BINGO events under the New Hampshire State Lottery’s Charitable Gaming Division. The group has no paid staff and all intake, adoption, fundraising, fostering, and administrative tasks are done by volunteers.
For the Love of Dog - Rottweiler Rescue of New Hampshire is a New Hampshire corporation and a registered charity in New Hampshire operating under the federal tax exempt status of 501c3. The organization is also a licensed animal shelter in the state of New Hampshire, a good-standing member of the Mayor's Alliance of New York City, the Animal Rescue Network of New England, and a Code of Ethics Rottweiler Rescue organization. REGISTRATION COSTS
There is a 2.5 hour time limit for the 10 mile course.
10 Mile (no youth tier or pricing): $45
10 Mile Relay (2 person team): $75 Relay the 10 mile course with your buddy!
10k Adult: $35
10k Youth (17 and under): $30
RELAY EXCHANGE/TRANSPORTATION/PARKING
Each leg is 5 miles. The relay exchange area is located at the 5 mile mark of the 10 mile course. Exchange is at Danis Park Road (Goffstown) and the Goffstown Rail Trail. The exchange is on the trail itself. We do not provide transpiration to and from the relay exchange area. Please make arrangements to be dropped off and picked up.
Parking is allowed alongside Danis Park Road. Park on either side of the road near the trail crossing.
WATER/FUEL STOPS
10K course: Mile 2 / 4
10 mile course: Mile 2 / 5 (energy gel stop) / 4 / 6 / 8
PORTA POTTIES
Portas will be located at the start/finish line, Mile 2.5 of the 10K and 10 Mile course and Mile 5 of the 10 Mile course.
MEDICAL
We have a medical tent at the Start/Finish line, and another team located on the course (near mile 5 of the 10 mile course)
BIB PICK UP
Day of the event begins at 8:30 a.m. in Arms Park inside the event tent.
COURSE
You will not want to miss this event on a beautiful, quiet course through the scenic Manchester and Goffstown Rail Trail. This scenic and flat course is sure to offer something for all runners. Please note that the rail trail is not closed off to the public. Course is clearly marked that this event is taken place however, we could not close the trail to the public.
The 10 mile, relay and 10K will start/finish at the same location. It is an out and back route, that starts at Arms Park.
