Event Description
Come one and all to the 6th Annual Dad & Daughter 5K in North Kansas City! Everyone is welcomed to participate. This event is a fun, friendly family event for all runners and walkers. Strollers, baby joggers and wagons are permitted, too.
We encourage Dad and Daughter duos, Grandfathers, Stepdads, Uncles, Brothers and entire families. Daughters are desired to run/walk in memory or honor of your dad as well.
This event will be filled with fun festivities for the children such as craft making, face painting, hula hoop contest, a Zumba warm-up and fun photos that can be downloaded for free. Great food and a memorable medal for everyone that crosses the finish line. DICK'S Sporting Goods $50 gift certificates will be awarded to overall top male and female and all first place male and female age groups will receive $20 gift certificates! Plus, other random great giveaways of gift certificates from the amazing North Kansas City Merchants! So, come embrace the day and let's celebrate together the importance of Dads!
This year the proceeds will benefit Phoenix Family. An amazing organization that provides housing and services to meet the needs of children, families and the elderly!
*The early bird special for older youth from 11 years old to adults will be $25 until May 5th with price increases after that. Youth 10 and younger will be $20 with no price increases.

Packet pick-up Is 9/13, 4-7 p.m. and will be at Chicken N Pickle, 1761 Burlington St., North Kansas City, MO 64116. You may also pick up your packet the day of the race starting @ 7:30 a.m.
*Participants that sign up on September 14, race day, will not be guaranteed a t-shirt.
