Event Description

Join Adult & Teen Challenge MidSouth for the Freedom 5K / Walk at TN Riverwalk Hubert Fryer Center and Riverwalk - 2019 on September 21!
Gather your amazing friends or co-workers, lace up your shoes, and join the fight against drug and alcohol abuse.  Join Adult & Teen Challenge on Saturday, September 28 as we walk and run to save lives. (USATF CERTIFIED LOOP COURSE 3.01 MILES) 

Fun is required and encouraged, and there will be prizes, food, and raffles.  You…can show FREEDOM!

WAYS TO BE INVOLVED

-Form a team and ask others to join you.
-Participate as an individual and become a fundraiser with the event. 
-Encourage your social groups to form teams and participate in an event that will benefit their communities.
-Ask your employer if you can form a corporate team or sponsor the event.
-If you can't run or walk with us, support a runner/walker who is!

T-shirt sizes are guaranteed for anyone who registers by Wednesday, September 4. 

GROUP/TEAM REGISTRATION~Create or join a team and get a $5 discount~ Applies to Freedom 5K not walk. All team members who join your church, business or social team get the discount. (Register and follow steps to create or join team) must get a password to use 

(Timed by Endurance Sports Management) USATF CERTIFIED LOOP COURSE 

Recovery Works! Freedom 5K is for running enthusiasts, for those in recovery, for survivors of those who have struggled with addiction, their families and supporters, and their caregivers. Runners may choose to run in honor of, or in memory of someone in recovery.

 The run will bring hope and inspiration to those directly benefiting from this event; the residents of Adult & Teen Challenge Midsouth! ~Family Fun Event 

AWARDS: Awards will be given to the top 3 overall male and female runners, as well as the top 3 finishers in each age group. Age groups are 9 and under, 10-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & UP
