Event Description

Help us raise money for Relay for Life with team Hwy 246 in a 5k run, walk and kids run Nov 5, 2016 with a bbq, silent auction and live music by Green Flag Summer to follow! We are so lucky to have the Garrick/Marchado Family open up thier private ranch for a super unique trail 5k and kids run with home cooked bbq and live music to follow. Come share in the adventure while helping us raise money for a great cause. 100% proceeds benefit Relay for Life!

Race is directed by Chrissy Faulding with help from Cody King and family, MC/announcer Classy Cassie and Hosted and BBQ arrangements and more by Garrick/Machado Family! Generously donated top finisher prizes by Santa Barbara Running, Kennedy Fitness, Rickshaw Bags, Toad&Co and many more! 

The course is on a trail with some soft sandy spots, it starts with a good heart throbber up a small hill and a loop around the resevior giving you a an excellent view of the ranch then continues with a loop around the vineyard and then a short out and back along the hillside with a water station that you pass twice! Goodies for all particpants and awards for top finishers in each age group!

Adults $30, Kids $10, all runners will have a meal included and $10 meal tickets offered as well for non runners

Event details and schedule

Race day registration starts at 8am and the 5k and kids run race start is 930am and live music, bbq and silent auction to follow. Plenty of parking at the start! Remember to come early to pick up your race number! Food tickets for sale for nonrunners are $10
