Event Description

Come to the Watershed for our 4th annual Watershed 10K & 5K Trail Run and Festival. The Trail Run helps support the efforts of The Watershed Institute's mission to protect and restore clean water and a healthy environment in central New Jersey.  

Special rates are offered for children, students, Watershed Institute members and school team members. All Watershed members received a discount code in the membership email about the Trail Run. Please use the code when you register. Running clubs are encouraged to participate and you can create a team online when you register for the race.  If you represent a school and would like a team and a discount code please contact Suzanne for assistance.

Family and friends can cheer you on from our victory village, tour the Watershed Center, and listen to live music by our race day band, “The Dadz”. The festival will also have beer and wine available for purchase, food from Antimo’s Italian Kitchen and Cream King ice cream. Parking opens on the Watershed Reserve and at Bristol-Myers Squibb 10:30, festival begins at noon and the racing starts at 12:30 PM. Parking is limited.  Carpooling and bike riding are encouraged.  All bike riders will get a Watershed swag as a thank you.

Child care is offered inside the Watershed Center. There is a $10 fee per child, pre-registration is required. After the race a fun field of activities will be available for families.  

Early registration rates are offered until May 13th. Runners may register onsite on May 19th starting at 10:30 am for an additional $10 fee IF space is available, but last year the race sold out, so don't delay. Runners shirts will be provided for students and adults as supplies lasts. The top three  finishers in each age group per race will receive a Watershed souvenir item You must be present to receive a prize.

NEW THIS YEAR - Help support the Watershed Institute by setting up an individual and/or team fundraising page when you register to run.  The largest team and the team that raises the most donations will win an outdoor Watershed experience, such as a hike or campfire.  Contact Suzanne Moran with any questions.

Please note that due to the large number of visitors to the Watershed when we are holding festivals or special events, dogs are not allowed.
