Official Start Time:
The Foodie Four Mile is a fundraiser for the Northeast Minneapolis Farmers Market, in conjunction with Twin Cities Food Justice. The Northeast Minneapolis Farmers Market has continued to partner with Twin Cities Food Justice to donate and deliver excess produce, providing local food shelves with fresh, quality options.
After a quick group warm-up from our friends at Alchemy 365, the four-mile route breezes through the historic St. Anthony Falls Milling District and offers stunning views of downtown Minneapolis throughout. Starting in Northeast Minneapolis at B.F. Nelson Park, the course follows the Mississippi River, crosses the Stone Arch Bridge, loops through the wooded parks of Downtown West, and returns to Northeast via the Plymouth Bridge. Be prepared for the challenging (but triumphant) hill near the finish line!
Fantastic clothing from Minneapolis’ favorite running store, Mill City Running, will be given away for the top finisher in the following categories: First Woman, First Man, First Pet, First Baby, Best Finish Line Celebration, and Best Costume.
The Food & Refreshments:
With a name like the ‘Foodie Four Mile’, you know it's going to be good. Back again are our friends from Equal Exchange, Eastside Food Co-op, Chowgirls Catering, Great Harvest Breads, and Seven Sundays Muslei to provide post-race snacks. Highlights include bananas, trail mix, wheat biscuits, and cold-pressed iced coffee from Sip coffee bar.
Use your $5 in gifted market coupons to attend the Northeast Minneapolis Farmers Market after the race! Walk four blocks from the finish line to check out our incredible lineup of market vendors – including food trucks and live music.
