Details: The 39th annual Kansas Heart and Sole Classic will be held on Saturday, May 4th starting at 8:00 am in historic downtown Olathe just east of the Johnson County Square. Event categories include 5K run/walk, 10K run, tot trot and fun run. The event includes participants of all ages and entire families. Several Olathe elementary schools will be participating again this year. The start and finish lines are near the intersection of Cherry and Park streets, with 10K runners making two laps on the 5K course. The event is sponsored by the Olathe Running Club with a portion of the race proceeds benefiting Special Olympics Kansas and Project 1020.
