Event Description

The Assenmacher 100 is a recreational and social fun bicycle ride through the farmland and villages of mid-Michigan. Started in 1980, it has become one of Michigan's premier century rides and has been endorsed by the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness, Health and Sports. It is held each year on the third Sunday in August. With routes of 20, 34, 56, 66, and 100 miles, there are courses for experienced cyclists as well as the casual rider. It has become a popular DALMAC warm up ride. Come on out for a great ride! 

Event details and schedule

Thank you for your interest in the Assenmacher 100.  The Start - Finish is at the Swartz Creek Middle School parking lot and you can link to a map here. The Five scenic, paved, bike-friendly routes are available for our 2018 ride. Rest stop refreshments, maps, turn by turn directions, and support vehicles will be on all routes until 3:00 PM. All routes will be marked with our new, improved, unique color coded "A" road arrows. The routes are designed to coincide so, depending on the distances, you will be able to ride with riders doing various distances.

  • 20 miles flat
  • 34 miles flat to rolling hills
  • 56 miles flat to rolling hills
  • 100+ kilometers (66 miles) flat to rolling hills
  • 100 miles (Century) flat to moderate hills.
Registration is from 7:00 AM until 10:30 AM. Century riders must leave by 8:00 AM. All other riders should be on the road by 10:30 AM There will be no refunds after August 1st. 2019.
