One of America's Top 100 Open Water Swims!

The 10th Annual Deer Creek Open Water Marathon Swim will take place on Saturday August 6, 2016.  Choose from race distances of 1 mile, 5K, 10K and 10 miles with wetsuit and non-wetsuit divisions.

This event is no longer sanctioned by United States Masters Swimming (USMS) and is open to swimmers ages 12 and up.

ALL swimmers are required to provide their own support boat and paddler.

UTAH TRIPLE CROWN

The 10 mile swim is one of three swims that make up the Utah Triple Crown. The other two swims are the 10K Great Salt Lake and the 10K Bear Lake Monster Swim.

Swimmers who complete all three of these swims in the same year will receive the Utah Triple Crown award at the annual Salt Lake Open Water (SLOW) awards dinner.

MINI TRIPLE CROWN

The 1-mile swim is one of three events that make up the Mini Triple Crown. The other two swims are the 1-mile swim at the Great Salt Lake Open Water Swim and the 1-mile swim at the Bear Lake Monster swim.

Swimmers who complete all three of these swims in one year will receive a special award at the Salt Lake Open Water (SLOW) awards dinner.

7:30 AM - Safety Meeting at Boat Ramp

8:00 AM - 10 Mile race begins

8:05 AM - 10K race begins

8:10 AM - 5K race begins

8:15 AM - 1 Mile race begins
