Event Description
This low key race for the Frederick Steeplechasers Running Club was introduced in 2017. It's a beautiful paved trail run at Riverside Park next to the Monocacy River. No traffic!
Why: We wanted a new race that wasn't in Baker Park, and we thought one around Independence Day would be fun!
Free for FSRC Members
Free for Steeplechaser members (you'll be given a 100% discount at checkout), $10 for non-members. Registration is here or on-site race morning. If you’re not a club member, you can join on race day for $20 to enjoy many other benefits throughout the year.
You can join the club at the same time you register here. If you think you are a paid member of the club and you can't register for free, please check the spelling of the name you used to join the club, using https://steeplechasers.org/membership/registered-members/. The system checks for a matching birth date, so please check your RunSignUp profile. If this still doesn't offer the discount check with membership@steeplechasers.org to make sure your birth date is set correctly for the club.

Food
Please bring your own food and beverage to share after the race. We love breakfast runs!
Weather
Any announcements about possible cancellations due to weather will be made on the Frederick Steeplechasers Facebook Group. This race runs right along the scenic Moncacy River. If the river floods, the race will have to be cancelled.
