Event Description

The CdA Tri, celebrating thirty-three successful years, is one of the most scenic races in the Northwest! The race starts with a swim in beautiful Lake Coeur d’Alene, while the bike course takes you along Coeur d’Alene Lake Drive, with a scenic route for the Tri athletes that leads to the challenging, uphill Mullan Trail Road. Finish your race with a run along Northwest Boulevard and the Spokane River, ending triumphantly at the finish line back at the Coeur d’Alene City Park. After the race, food will be provided for all participants.

FAQs

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

Yes. The USAT requirement is 14. Athletes must present an ID when picking up their packets and cannot pick up the packets for other entrants.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

While the park itself does not have parking facilities, all residential streets two blocks north and beyond of the Sherman Ave. allow for free event parking. Do not park in the neighborhood to the west of the parking as it is by resident permit only.

What can/can't I bring on the course?

According to USAT's rules: No external listening devices. There have been too many dangerous close calls due to athletes being "tuned in and tuned out" on the course, not allowing them to hear when approaching athletes call out.

Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?

Do I have to bring my printed registration confirmation to the event?

It sure helps!

What is the refund policy?

No refunds, but a deferral to an upcoming race is typically issued.
