Event Description

We, the kids of Upland Hills School, are doing this race to sponsor our Adventure Playground (APG), which is a "high ropes" course that helps us with team building, self-confidence, and physical health. We are very fortunate to have the APG course and we would like to be able to share it with other schools that don't have such things. The money from this race will be used to fund ongoing maintenance for the course and to help other schools to be able to use our course. "Race Class" is an elective afternoon class that we all chose to take. We are all between the ages of 8 and 13. We are so excited to design courses, websites, medals and all the other important things it takes to put on a race. We hope you are able to participate in this one-of-a kind race that we worked so hard to put on.

The race will take you along the beautiful trails of Upland Hills Farm and the scenic trails of Bald Mountain Recreational Area. The trails are dirt with some rolling hills, pasture land, agricultural land, sand, rocks, tree roots, and possibly mud...if it rains! Fun for the entire family! In addition to the 5K/10K/10 Mile, and there is a fun run (free!) for the youngest children up to 8 years old. The Upland Hills Farm will be hosting animals to pet (kittens, sheep, cows, goats... maybe more!) and vendors will be offering goodies for purchase.

Register by April 26th to be guaranteed a shirt. Shirts available after that as supplies last.

The registration table will open at 7:30 am.  The 10 mile run begins at 8:30 am, the Fun Run is at 9 am, the 10K at 9:10 am, and the 5K at 9:15 am. 

SPECIAL YOUTH PRICING: Youth (18 and under) - $15 entry fee for any event!! Register your youth and the $15 pricing is automatically applied during checkout to anyone aged 18 and under.  Details can be found in the Event Info tab.
