Event Description

The Comet Chase 5k will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020 in Grand Ledge, Michigan. The race begins at 8:30am from the First United Methodist Church in downtown Grand Ledge and travels through scenic Fitzgerald Park before returning to the church.  A 1 mile run for youth 13 & under starts at 8:00am and the 400m Kids Race precedes the 5K at 8:15am.  All proceeds go to benefit the Grand Ledge Education Foundation a 501(c)3 organization that works to provide extra funding for special projects within the Grand Ledge Public Schools classrooms.

Sign up by July 16th for $20 - Race Day Registration $30!

$5 discount for family who register three or more.

A technical t-shirt will be guaranteed to all entries received prior to July 6th. T-shirts available as supplies last after that date.

Awards & Prizes:  Post race refreshments for all registrants and chance at race day door prizes
Medals to the top 3 place finishers in each division.

All kids 400m race participants will receive a finisher’s ribbon.

Packet Pickup and Race Day Registration: Held the morning of the race starting at 7:00 AM

The race will be timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be posted during the race and on the web at Playmakers.com.
