Event Description

Jordan's Ride is a charity bicycle ride benefiting SIDS/SUDC research and support for the families affected by the tragic loss of their child. This ride was created in honor of Jordan Michael Zappia who passed away at 16 months to Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC). Jordan's Ride is hosted by Barefoot Media Ministries' Boise radio station, 89.5 KTSY FM and Metamorph Events.

Jordan's Ride is fully supported with rest stations, SAG wagons and on-site medical personnel.

EVENT SCHEDULE
7:00 a.m. Late Registration Begins
7:30 a.m. Start of the "Insane Century" 105 Mile Route
8:30 a.m. Start of the"Fierce Fifty" 50 Mile Route
9:30 a.m. Start of the "Thrilling Thirty" 30 Mile Route
11:00 a.m. Start of the "Casual Ten" 10 Mile Route

ROUTES
Jordan's Ride has four routes to appeal to riders at ALL levels. Distances include 10, 30, 50 and 105 miles.

Our "Insane Century" (a 105 mile route) is the valley's craziest bike ride yet! This ride was created to give the serious cyclist a real challenge, and is absolutely for the experienced rider.

BE PREPARED
All participants are reminded that they should not attempt Jordan's Ride unless they are capable of riding the full mileage they have chosen. Our 105 mile route should only be attempted by an ADVANCED rider.

HELMETS & SAFETY
A helmet designed for bicycle riding is REQUIRED of all riders and a rear-view mirror is recommended. No trailers or other child carriers are allowed on our 30+ mileage routes.

CUT OFF TIME
Riders who have not completed their route by 4:00pm will be picked up by the SAG wagon volunteers and returned to the Eagle Sports Complex.

FUN FOR THE KIDS
We love seeing families at our event. Kids will enjoy face painting and playing in our bounce house.

AFTER RIDE PARTY
As riders finish their leg of Jordan's Ride they will be welcomed to a picnic served at the concession stand at the Eagle Sports Complex. Please join us from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. for this fun after-ride party. Meal tickets for non-riders are $10 each.

WEATHER
The average high in Eagle, ID in September is 66 degrees Fahrenheit, however our last two rides have experiened temperatures in the low 80s.
