Event Description

The Spectrum Health Danish Dash will begin and end at Baldwin Heights Elementary School and take place on August 17 during the Danish Festival in Greenville. This USA Track & Field certified course will run through Tower Park, past historic Manoka Lake and around Baldwin Lake. The course provides a scenic view of Taylor Hops and will conclude with a gradual hill up Marvel Drive.

The race will be professionally timed and include a "Dress Like a Dane" costume contest, a photo booth, DJ and many fun and motivational surprises along the course. 

At packet pick up, participants who registered by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, August 2 will receive the shirt size they ordered. Those who registered after 11:59 p.m. on Friday, August 2 can choose from available remaining shirt sizes on a first come first served basis while supplies last.

5K medals awarded to top three male/female in the following age groups:                                                                             

9 & under; 10-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70 & up.

Danish gift basket to Overall male, Overall female, Master's male, Master's female and Dress Like a Dane costume contest winner.                            

The 1 Mile Walk and Half Mile Kids Run are non-competitive and untimed.
