Vesta Senior Network presents:
The Shortest Run for the Longest Day 2019
- .0621 mile fund-raising fun run/walk on the longest day of the year, 06/21.
- Kick-off / Registration / T-shirt pick up at Leff's Lucky Town (7208 W. State Street): 5:30 pm to 6:45 pm
- Race start time: 7:00 pm-- run or walk to our finish line at Hart Fest!!!!
- Runners will receive a t-shirt* and 0.621 mile race sticker
- ALL event proceeds benefit the Alzheimer's Association's "The Longest Day"
On The Longest Day, June 21, 2019, we want to recognize not only those suffering with Alzheimer's Disease, but we want to let caregivers know that we honor and respect their roles. We want to take this day to bring awareness to their struggles and raise funds that will not only help the Alzheimer's Association #ENDALZ, but also provide support and services for caregivers until we realize a world without Alzheimer's.
This will be Vesta Senior Network's 4th year participating in The Longest Day fundraiser to #ENDALZ. In the past 3 years, TEAM VESTA has raised over $18,000.
This year, our goal is to raise $15,000!!! We need you to help us make that goal and to help us find that cure for Alzheimer's Disease.
Bring your kids, bring your grandma, and walk or run to honor someone you love or just to have fun! Stay to enjoy the food and music at Hart Fest and to participate in our awesome raffle!
*t-shirts are guaranteed for participants who are registered at least 2 weeks prior to race date. We will have plenty of t-shirts even if you register after this date, but you may not get your preferred size.
