Event Description

Whitewater has always been known for its charm and ideal location, nestled within the forest, lakes, prairies, and hills of the Kettle Moraine State Forest in southeastern Wisconsin. The Discover Whitewater Series is a unique series of events that will offer opportunity for all ages and levels. Cash prizes to the top 3 male and female participants in the Half Marathon plus age group awards, prizes and/or age group awards in the 5K, medals for Fit Kid Shuffle participants, and Kids Korral day care services available on-site FREE for participants and volunteers (pre-registration only).

Prize Money/Awards
All registered participants who finish the half marathon, half marathon relay, 5K and W3 Fit Kid Shuffle will receive a finisher’s medal. In addition to the finisher’s medal, awards will be presented to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners within the different age group categories for the half marathon and the 5K. An award & purse prize will be presented to the top three overall men and women in the half marathon. The order in which the awards ceremony will take place is the 5K (9:45a), followed by Half Marathon (10a).

Award Ceremony Layout:
Half Marathon Top Overall Finishers (Men and Women)
1st Place: $400.00 and a “Black Sheep” $50 gift card
2nd Place: $250.00 and a “Black Sheep” $50 gift card
3rd Place: $150.00 and a “Black Sheep” $50 gift card

Age Group Category Awards for Half Marathon & 5K
**Half Marathon Top Overall Finishers will be excluded from the age groups and will not receive age group awards. Prizes will be given to the top three finishers in each age group:

Male and female – 14 & under (5K only), 15-19 (5K only), 19 & under(HM only), 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and over.

Half Marathon Relay Teams
Customized medals will be given to:
1st – 3rd place Men’s Team Overall
1st  – 3rd place Women’s Team Overall
1st – 3rd place Co-ed Team Overall
