Event Description

In November of 2017, The Race presented by The Unity Collective Kickstarter campaign to #BackTheRace was announced. 

Throughout the 6 week campaign, over 700 runners/walkers/supporters eagerly made history by becoming backers to kickstart the funding and vision of The Race. 

And...October 11 - 14, 2018 the Unity Collective hosted an inaugural race event like NO other! Participants came from all over to run, support, and give back to black owned businesses, neighborhoods, and charities

The Race 2019. A half marathon weekend event that supports black owned businesses, neighborhoods, and charities taking place in Atlanta, GA | October 3-6, 2019. We are committed to delivering a top-notch, world-class, road race with excellence at every step.

Charitable Impact

The Race will positively impact the community in the following manner:

• Service projects will be organized and executed in partnership with local charities and organizations, City of Atlanta, runnningerds serves, and others.

• The community will be actively engaged in the course planning and volunteer opportunities.

• The Race half marathon weekend will conclude with a Charitable Impact Service Project and Wrap Up Party on Sunday, October 6th!

• $5 of EVERY race registration fee will put into a Charitable Impact Fund and given directly to community charities and organizations within the neighborhoods we run through and that support The Race initiative.

November 23rd - December 31st -  Early Kick Off Registration $75 (5K $25), VIP add on $50

January 1st - July 31st: Registration $80 (5K $30), VIP add on $50

August 1st - August 15th: Registration $90, VIP add on $50

August 16th - September 15th: Registration $95 (5K $35), VIP add on $50

Septeber 16-October 1st: Registration $100 (5K $40), VIP ADD ON CLOSED

Online Registration ends Tuesday, October 1st at 11AM!!

Remaining Registration will be available at The Race Expo on October 4th 11am-5pm  

There will be NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION!!!!!
