Event Description

Havre Trails is presenting its first annual Beaver Dash in the beautiful Beaver Creek Park south of Havre, Montana, the largest county park in the United States. Join us Sunday, September 11th from 11am-3pm for what we're calling our special version of a biathlon. We'll be offering three race variations: Bear Paw, Beaver Crawl, Cub Paw. This is a family friendly event with food, music, and prizes.

Bear Paw: 2m run/4m bike – this is our longest event. Starting at Lions campground you will run or walk 2 miles down the Nature Trail until you get to the park boundary line. From there you hop on your bike, ride down the road until you get to Alkali Springs, turn around and ride back to Lions. The biking portion is 4 miles. Starts at 11am.

Beaver Crawl: 2m run/2m bike – This is our version of a 5k. It’s a little longer – probably closer to 4 miles. You'll go 2 miles down the Nature Trail and then bike 2 miles to the Lions campground. We believe in you and know you can do it! Starts at 11:20am.

Cub Paw: 1m run/1m bike – We’re calling this our family event. It’s a 1 mile run/walk followed by a 1 mile bike ride. This is the last event of the day but by no means shy of exciting. Starts at 12pm.
