Awards
All Half Marathon, Half Marathon Relay and 10K finishers will receive finisher medals. In addition, awards are given to the top 3 finishers in all categories in the Half Marathon and 10K run. Special awards will be given to the Top Overall Male, Top Overall Female and Top Relay Team. Those receiving overall and master awards are removed from their age groups, bumping everyone else up in the age group standings. There is no double dipping. If you qualify for overall, you cannot get another award for masters overall or your age group.
Please stay for the awards ceremony if you are due an award. Unclaimed awards may be mailed if requested within 2 weeks after the event. You must pay $9 for shipping and handling. Go to the results of your race and click Mail next to your name to request your award. There is no other option to get an unclaimed award.
Race Photos
Photographers will be on site and course as well as before and after the race. You’ll be able to view and order your photos within 3 to 4 days after the race. Here are some suggestions on ways to make the most of your race photos:
- Display your number: Wear your race number in a place that it can be easily seen (the center of your chest works well). Your bib number is used to identify your photos so remember to keep your number on a layer of clothes that can be seen.
- Freak Out: Make a face, smile, yell or wave at our photographers!
- Celebrate: As you take your final strides across the finish line, look up, put your hands in the air or congratulate your running buddy – whatever you do, try not to block your number by looking down at your watch.
- No tailgating: At the photographers and especially at the finish, don’t crowd up right behind another runner. Run in your own space if possible and you’ll help us get a better shot.
