Event Description
Fayette C.A.R.E. (“Compassion And Respect for Everyone”) Clinic serves lower-income, uninsured individuals in Fayette County ages 18+ (200% or below FPL) with free healthcare for increased access to a medical home. Fayette C.A.R.E. Clinic provides primary care, vision, dental, cardiology, physical therapy, gynecology, chiropractic, and podiatry for these individuals. FCC has provided 2500 -3000 patient visits per year with an average of more than $2-$3 million annually in medical services for their patients. Currently, 849 patients call FCC their medical home. FCC's new patient count continues to rise as many lower-income individuals do not qualify for Medicaid, but cannot afford health insurance. Most of our patients are working people with lower incomes that are usually temporarily without insurance coverage. Many patients regain their health and can once again gain employment and access to health insurance, but, as life changes for them, it changes for others and a new patient enters the doors.
