Event Description

Welcome to our 2nd annual Race 4 Recovery! Last year we started off small and this year are expanding! Celebrate Recovery Immanuel would like to invite you to our 5K walk/run fundraiser held on Saturday May 25th, 2019 at Corbin High School, 1901 Snyder Street Corbin Ky

This is a timed 5K walk/run event for all participants provided by Falls Road Runners. This is a pavement course. Each participant will receive a bib number given on the day of race. Only participants pre-registered by May11, 2019 are guaranteed a race t-shirt. After this date, shirt sizes are limited and will be first come first serve. Packet pick-up and race day registrations will be held near the start/finish line at 8:00 am. Awards will be given for top Overall male and female.  Other awards three deep in the following age divisions, male and female: 14&under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34…55-59, 60 and Over. Music and complimentary drinks/snacks will be available at the start/finish line. Photos and results will be posted on the event’s and Falls Road Runners’ Facebook page. Celebrate Recovery offers a safe place for its participants to find hope and healing in the power of Jesus Christ. By growing spiritually, we can be free from addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors. This is a life changing process that brings about newfound peace, serenity, and joy.  Celebrate Recovery meets 52 weeks a year.  Resources are needed for Bibles, program materials, weekly dinners, training for leaders and other expenses.  Proceeds from the 5k will go toward meeting these needs.
