Event Description

This is a 5K Run/Walk and 2-Mile Walk (untimed this year) event held annually on Labor Day.  The course starts at Covington Woods Park and is USATF certified.  The 5K runs through a beautiful residential neighborhood that is flat to slightly rolling. 

The Bowling Green (KY) Noon Lions Club hosts the event and Downing Eye Care is the presenting sponsor. 

This event is the first leg in the bg3 Race Series.  Chip timing and team competition!

100% of the event's proceeds benefit children and adult eyesight conservation in Bowling Green and Warren County. 

The Kids Bubble Run!  For those 12 yrs. old and younger.  Run through hundreds of bubbles at the start & finish line.  To be held immediately after the run/walk events; starting at approx. 9:00 am.  Only $10 per child -- parents welcome to join in!  T-shirt guaranteed for the first 50 registrants.

Race packets can be picked up on Sunday, Sept. 6th from 5-7 pm at Covington Woods Park.  On-site registration will be accepted during that time. 

Race-day walk-up registration cannot be accepted after 7:00 am.

Strollers, bicycles, roller blades, and pets are not allowed on the course.
