Event Description

Strider Pettit Races are the still the Perfect 10 for 2019!  Perfect because its a fast and flat course and we guarantee perfect weather - about 55F and no chance of rain or snow!  and 10 because the race distances are 10 miles and 10K. 

We have quarter zip shirts for all participants.  The 10 mile race is about 36 laps, and the 10k distance is about 22 laps.

This race is one of the many ways Striders support our local charities.  Our race will be collecting new toys for the Milwaukee Rescue Mission to distribute to local boys and girls in the Milwaukee area.   Please bring an unwrapped toy.

6:30-7:15 am 10 mile Packet Pick-Up and Race Day Registration
7:30am         10 Mile Race (2 hour 20 min time limit/100 runner capacity)

9:00-9:45 am 10k Packet Pick Up and Race Day Registration
10:00am         10K Race (100 runner capacity)

Perks
Quarter Zip Shirt, water stop and restrooms on the course, as well as snacks and beverages after the event.  Guaranteed flat and fast course, race day temperatures in the 50’s, with zero percent chance of rain, snow, sleet, hail, or other nasty weather conditions on the track.

Portable Music Devices
For safety reasons, headphones will not be allowed on the course. Music will be played over the speaker system.

Aid Station
There will be water bottle storage tables at one end of the track. Runners should bring their own water bottle as cups are not allowed due to spillage concerns. Volunteers will be available at the aid station to refill bottles with water or Gatorade.
