Come out and join us for the FIRST Sue-za Palooza Memorial 5k/10k trail run to benefit pancreatic cancer research!

Sue-za Palooza is being held in honor of my mother, Susan Timson. Sue was a loving, caring, rock-n-roll woman who devoted her life to family, friends, faith, and pretty much anyone in need. She had a huge heart and loved to sing *all the time*. 💜
She was taken from us way too soon when she was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer. She passed away within a few months, just days after her 55th birthday.

Like my mother, most people who are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer are diagnosed at a late stage because there is no early detection. This year, the five-year survival rate for pancreatic cancer remains at 9 percent and is on track to be the second leading cause of cancer-related death in the United States around 2020. We need to fight this awful disease!!

Sue-za Palooza is a 5k/10k trail run through the wooded trails of Ridley Creek State Park...a small part of the run will be on paved roads. Participants will receive a finisher's medal and have the option to purchase a t-shirt ($10). Registration link and more info coming soon!
