This coming June 2019 Our Friends — Instantaneous Pet Services (Think Wag, but better) is hosting a fun 5k event for Dogs! Free, fun Event in LA June 9th. Donations are welcomed and all go to a great cause. The purpose of this event is to spread awareness to the community for educating pet owners with local services, resources, and wellness programs. This is a charity event and the proceeds go to a local non-profit to help with the effort of animals. This non-profit and for-profit organization will provide aid across areas of Los Angeles Country on the latest topic of pet care and pet technology and proper community aspect for a pet.
Our 1st Sunday Doggie 5K Walk/Run event will have four loops around Pan Pacific Park. Each pet owner will be responsible for keeping track of your laps! All dogs will have to be on a leash to avoid any safety and liability. The course will be a total of four loops around Pan Pacific Park and the Museum of Holocaust. Each loop is a total of .75 miles route and a total of four will equal a 5k. The course has some steep and hill parks however, a great exercise for the owner and their pet. The race will start at a 210 FT and the max elevation is 215FT. The climb is approximate 9 FT.
We have park ranger on-site and a first aid station. We are working with Fusion Timing Company to ensure a successful race for your pet and they will track each lap and overall timing for each pet. In addition, they will provide arrows and mile markers along with cones to assist with route walking and running for all participants. Fusion Timing will time all racers will provide accurate information.

The event will start at 8:30 AM and it will last until 11:00 PM. Our course information was stated above. There is parking at 7600 Beverly Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90036, however, parking is limited. Have your dog bring their best costume and bring water, great running shoes, and running clothes.
