What is the race day timeline?
6:30 am Day of Pre-Registered Bib Pick-Up & Day of Registration Opens
7:30 am Pre-Race Announcements
8:00 am 5K Starts
8:10 am 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk Starts
9:00 am Awards
What is the price of the race and is it timed?
The 5K is chip timed; the 1-mile fun run/walk is not chip timed.
5K: $25 until midnight 6/30/19; $30 7/1/19– 9/30/19; $35 1-/1/19 until midnight 11/8/19; $40 race day
1-mile walk/run - $20 until midnight 11/8/19; $25 race day
What is included in the participant registration price?
Chip timed numbered bib (5K); non-chip timed bib (1 mile)
Gender specific dri-fit shirt—5K only—guaranteed if registered by 10/31/19
NOTE: Shirts are not guaranteed if registering after 10/31/19
Finisher medal for all participants in the 5K & 1 Mile
Am I guaranteed a race t-shirt and finisher medal?
Participants who register for the 4th Annual Kettle Krush 5K or 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk prior to Oct. 31, 2019 will receive an event shirt and finisher medal.
Please note, race participant must be present to receive race giveaways including event shirts and finisher medals. If you are unexpectedly unable to attend the race, you are not guaranteed these items
Are there Awards?
Awards presented to Overall 1st place M/F and to Overall 1st place M/F youth (ages 9 & under)
1st place only M/F awards as follows: 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+

When & Where is Pre-Race Packet Pick-Up?

Can I pick up someone else’s race bib or can someone pick up mine?
Yes, you can pick up for others, however, you must bring a copy of that person’s registration confirmation or photo ID.
Where do I park on race day?
Parking is not available in Albert Whitted Park due to race staging.
We suggest using the City of St. Petersburg street parking and downtown parking garages.
Parking fees will apply.
Is gear-check available race morning?
Gear check/hold is not available on race day.
Are bicycles, rollerblades, scooters, wheeled shoes or other wheeled transportation allowed in the race?
For safety reasons, except for participants pushing a baby stroller/jogger, no wheeled vehicles including but not limited to scooters, rollerblades, rolling shoes and bicycles are allowed on the racecourse. Participants pushing a baby stroller/jogger will line up in a designated start corral.
Are dogs allowed at the race?
Yes. For safety reasons, dogs must be on a non-retractable leash not to exceed 6’.
Owners must clean up after them and will line up in a designated start corral.
Do you need volunteers and how can they sign up?
YES, we always need volunteers! Volunteer tasks & times are on the race registration site at:

Where can I find 5K & 8K race results?
Results will be available on-site following the race and a link to results will be emailed to all valid email addresses post-race.
