Event Description

This marks the 45th anniversary of the Sarasota Manatee Bicycle Club and Gulf Coast Cyclefest. Come out and be part of a great event! Presented by the Sarasota Manatee Bicycle Club and sponsored in part by Crescent Wealth Partners. Join us this year as we celebrate safe cycling and Hi-Vis. One full day of superb cycling in beautiful southwest Florida. Riders may choose supported routes of 100, 73, 58, 34, 26.2 or 16 mile distances. All routes are designed for safety.  This is not a race and is designed to be a family event for cyclists of all abilites. Breakfast provided along with a catered lunch. Full SAG support and seven well-stocked rest stops. Improved quality shirts for this year.  

Event details and schedule

This year will feature breakfast, higher quality dri-fit shirts, seven well-stocked rest stops, full SAG support,  lunch and various venders on Main Street to enjoy.

Register by Octobe 1, 2019 for a guaranteed dri-fit shirt in your requested size. Shirts are a better quality this year and are Hi-Vis.

Ride starts: 8:00 AM-100

                    8:30 AM-73 miles

                    9:00 AM-58 miles        

                    9:30 AM-34 miles

                   10:00 AM-26.2 miles

                   10:15 AM-16 miles

Ride ends:    3:30PM

Meals: Breakfast & lunch included

Breakfast served 7:00-10:00

Lunch served 11:30-3:30

Packet pick-up Friday and Saturday before event; locations announced via email and SMBC website.
